Our club programme.
The programme consists of winter meetings, held October to March, plus a series of matches and social events held April to September.
Winter Meetings 2026/27
All club evenings are held at Empingham Cricket Club and start at 7:30pm unless noted otherwise. A bar is available each evening and we try to provide a free buffet supper at most winter events. This is funded by the raffle so members are encouraged to contribute to this on the evening.
Guests may visit for a fee of £5. Turn up and pay on the night or why not join the club for £20 covering all the evening and summer events.
The clubhouse at Empingham Cricket Club is easy to find and has plenty of free parking. It is approx 5 miles from Oakham and 4 miles from the A1 junction.
Summer Programme 2026
The club has a varied summer programme consisting of bank meet ups, matches, social fishing and other activities. Members should join the club WhatsApp group in order to receive last minute information about the events.

A series of dry fly fishing and casting coaching sessions are also held. These are advised to the members via email and the club WhatsApp group once you have put your name down.
The Tuesday Night Boat League events are run by Anglian Water and a fee is payable to them for participation.
External Matches 2026
Each year the club takes part in a number of Association of Major Fishing Club and other matches. We take a team of either 4 or 6 to compete in each event.
