Fly Tying Evening 2nd Dec 2021
The first RWFF social event of the winter, a fly-tying evening, was held on Thursday 2nd December 2021. This was attended by 24 members. Numbers were understandably down on previous years due to the uncertainties of Covid 19
A big thank you to all the fly tiers, Mick Connor, Brian Bonner, Paul Wild and John Lee and the knowledge they bequeathed to us. We saw some excellent flies tied. This included a range of patterns from buzzers to shrimps, popper minkies and snakes.
Also, a big thank you to ‘the staff’, Jayne Walker, Pat Bonner and Elaine Connor who created an excellent buffet!
