Sunday 18th September 2022.
Three of the Anglian Water fly fishing clubs, namely, Rutland Water Fly Fishers, Grafham Water Fly Fishers and Invicta Fly Fishers came together to take part in the event.
The John Maitland Trophy match was fished in quite cold weather with a moderate north-westerly wind and some high cloud cover.

Members of RWFF joined with Anglian Water and Water Aid staff to run the Water Aid 2022 fishing event on 8th September 2022.
Teams boat fished with the option of taking a RWFF ghillie out with them. Prizes were awarded for the winning team and best fish.
Over £4000 was raised towards Water Aid. This event has been run for a number of years and over £200,000 has been raised over the years.
